Everything is so big in WordPress

I am still exploring inside and around WordPress..It looks great to me. I can’t help comparing WordPress with blogspot, especially having tried nothing apart from blogspot till now.

For once, everything in WordPress looks so big, Visit any page, and the letters are just so big; so unlikely of how it is in blogspot. Well, that apart, one reason why I chose WordPress is because of its option to provide categories so that I can write on whatever I choose to write. In blogspot, each time, I decided to write on a new topic, I would start a new blog. I wanted to write a retail blog, started and wrote a few posts on it. But the interest died down, and the effort, search engine ranking, all is down the drain. The categories here is so cool.

Another good thing I see here is that I see the top bar only when I am logged in my account. Otherwise, there is no annoying bar at the top of the blog. But then, there was this one thing good in Blogspot. Whenever I felt bored, I would just keep clicking on that random page button to keep visiting pages. I don’t think that exists here..correct me if I am wrong on this.

Templates – man.. I had always been impressed with the simple, yet elegant looking wordpress templates. Let me tell you that I am not of that kind who can customize blog to suit one’s taste. I saw Digital Inspirations once and remember the endless time I tried to make my blogspot look like that one..No. I was not able to bring a page appear there..So, I am happy with default templates. Only thing is that it should look pleasing to the visitors.

Other things, even I am not very sure of what is good in WP. I think I should have spent a lot more time before actually making this post, but never mind. I shall come in with new observations now and then on this. But then, one thing is certain, never keep changing the place you write, because from what I can tell from my experience, I have always been changing sites thinking that this will be my destiny topic and page..so, even almost a year after I have taken to blogging and websites, I still only average about 12 odd visitors a day. Hopefully this is the last place I shall blog.
